When was the last time I had model shoot? December last year?!?!! OMG! I can’t believe being a photographer who love to have model shooting didn’t shoot model for about 9 months!!! I still cannot believe it..can’t believe it..

Ok. Leave nonsense behind, let’s come back to this album, with a title, Survivor of War. This idea was initially by my photo buddy, Mat, who had prepared the costume and equipment. Thanks to him.

The concept behind was to emphasis the survivor(model)’s moody feel as it was after war condition, yet to have some art feel on every single photos, color process with a bit yellowish sunset in darkness. To maintain the existing lighting scene and color enhanced with some of the photos to bring out the essence of the concept.

Specially thanks to our talented model, Lin Xuan(林旋). Having a pose in the abandoned building with a mess structure was not a comfort things to do. But she was doing just awesome in every single act. Really appreciated.

Known Evyan from a friend of mine thru FB, and coincidently met her during 1 of my partner’s photography workshop. I picked the same location, Carcosa Seri Negara, but different building this time. I like their interior design of this building, very British feel. This time I officially got permission to shoot inside around the building. But we still “sneak in” to their deluxe room(which cost RM900 and above per nite) for our photo shooting. Thanks to Gentak, my photo buddy to be our “pintu penjaga” so our photo shoot session were running smooth Evyan were absolutely awesome and did a good job in this photo shoot. We do had great time and wish to have another one in future

Note: Carcosa Seri Negara will be close for renovation starts from next year, we were lucky to had phoot shoot at this place before they closed..hehe

What else can i say..I had 2 pretty girls for my model shooting at the same time. One look like Japanese, Ying Jia. And Ying Chen looks like Taiwanese.
This was my 2nd time model shoot with Ying Chen, she is definitely awesome when come in pose. Just point the spot, she will know what to do(pose). Really had great time shooting with Ying Chen, of coz not forgetting Ying Jia. Both of you are great. Thanks so much for trusted me as your photographer.You two are my superb model of the month. Hope to work with you 2 again 1 sweet + 1 beautiful

Ying Jia, Ying Chen‘s younger sister had dedicated her first time being model shoot to me (happy ^ _ ^). Ying Jia has a feel of Japanese look. She looks cool when she is not smiling but sweet when she smile.(i meant really sweet) I would say she was doing really great being a first time model shoot, she had surprised me with some of her natural pose that i ever wanted. Thanks to Ying Jia for being my model shoot and glad to meet you You are lovely!

Ying Chen, Newly met friend. 1st time had some pressure standing with this girl as she is about 5ft7..more than that if is with her high heel
Anyway, we headed to Putrajaya to find some ideal place for shooting in the early morning. We drive many round around Putrajaya to search for the intended location but failed. At the end we saw some “Salem high country” mountain from far near resident area and decided heading up hill to find some nice spot for shooting..By the time we reached there already late morning to noon. Here are some shots taken to be share. Hope Ying Chen will like it Enjoy guz!

Brandy_Serendipity in serinity

This is another album for Brandy at Tanjung Sepat taken at the same day as Morib album, I been here few times and alwaz wanted to have model shoot at this “Withered beach” (枯樹灘). I have process 2 version for this album, one is more “duotone” as to stand out the model with her dress, as the other one is more color and grain added with so called “grungy” feel. I like both version, wonder how you feel about this two. Comment welcome

Pantai Morib, a place where I’m getting more familiar with this day as i been here twice within a month for a model shoot. It was sunny weather today after many rainy day. Pantai Morib is well know with its sea water descended in the morning where u can walk out to the sea about 1 km distance from the beach side. Brandy, my model of the day, know her quite some years ago during our yoga training(yes, i learned yoga before ) Colorful dress made her stand out naturally on the beach. Below photos taken from morning till noon. Enjoy!

It was the late sunset model shoot when we reached Pantai Morib, located in Kuala Langat, Selangor. The sun was shine with orange warmth color, but the best sunset moment didn’t last for long. We only have about 20min left for shooting before the sun rest behind the clouds and “sink into the sea”.. Not many photos taken for this round due to the short time allowed, hoping for next shooting with a condition of earlier arrival to this place. Anyway, it was still a great photo shoot with Karen.
